Farhadi ‘Everybody Knows’ ranks among 10 high-grossing Spain films

Asghar Farhadi’s latest production ‘Everybody Knows’ has ranked among 10 highest-grossing Spanish films.

According to a media report, in the year 2018, Farhadi’s Spanish speaking movie that premiered in Spanish cinemas on September 14 could gross around 3.5 million dollars in Spain box office putting it among the top ten movies of the year.

The film is about Laura who lives with her husband and children in Buenos Aires. When they return together at her native village in Spain for a family celebration, an unexpected event changes the course of their lives.

Celebrity couple, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem, has starred in the flick.

‘Everybody Knows’ was also premiered at the latest edition of the Cannes Film Festival in France.

The film has so far attended several global film events, including the 36th Munich Int'l Film festival in Germany, the 2018 Golden Apricot Film Festival in Armenia, the 2018 Toronto Film Festival in Canada, the 66th Melbourne Int'l Film Festival in Australia, and the 55th Antalya Film Festival in Turkey, the 25th Austin Film Festival in the US, the 2018 Lumière Film Festival in France, and the CineIran (Iranian Film Festival) in Canada.
